Landmark Designs websites are usually set-up with the Content Management System (CMS), but we are able to cater for the other methods. The CMS system is by far the most popular sytem. The usual methods are :-
1) Most commonly, The Content Management System (CMS) is implemented. This is a three tier System where Landmark Designs will implement and administer the CMS. A Technical End-User can control users & logins and the third level where end-users can control and enter the content onto the website.
2) Plain HTML pages for simple static websites. All updating is handled by Landmark Designs. Our hosting includes one free set of changes per month (if handed in at the same time). These changes are usually implemented within 3 working days, depending on the amount/size of the changes and availability of content information.
3) Using custom PHP programming & Databases, for speciality websites. Special Admin pages requiring login are be set-up so that the end-user can make changes to the content via ordinary fill-in form web pages.

Landmark Designs Websites are structured to be accessible to people with disabilities. The Content Management System (CMS) we use is capable of delivering accessible websites that comply with WCAG 1.0 Priority 2 and Section 508 requirements.
Spam
We also program all e-mail addresses displayed so that they are not harvested by spider programs that collect e-mail addresses from websites for spamming purposes.
